It feels quite old school to sit down and write a blog post. I should be talking to some kind of AI agent instead, and letting it draft a nicely polished piece. Here’s the problem, though. When I meet clients and prospects ‘in real life’ they’ll figure out straight away that my blog posts are prompt-made.
That said, there’s nothing wrong about using AI for content. It makes sense to do so in many cases, and that’s something we offer – check out our AI for Sales & Marketing service.
We’re launching this blog for a couple of very good reasons:
- There are a lot of stories to write about doing business in Manningham
- It’s good for SEO/AIO/GEO
- Blog posts = talking points we can use with prospective clients
- It’s a good way to show that we are a) thought leaders and b) we care
The other point is that there’s no one else locally doing the same, or at least not as a blog post.
So, what are we going to write about?
There’s quite a lot to cover. It may not seem like it but there’s a lot happening in Manningham, even from the Marketing side.
To answer the question: anything that is interesting and/or useful to local businesses. You’ll notice a bias towards smaller ones too.
This is an introduction. The first post is in the pipeline and it’s about something I noticed while driving around Doncaster East. I stopped my car and took some photos too, so the next blog post wil be in full technicolor :)
I’m also keen to write about the background, successes and challenges of local businesses. Feel free to get in touch if you want share yours.
What about social media?
Good question. We’re on LinkedIn and Facebook. Follow us there!
Our strategy is for our blog to be our main publishing platform and social networks as distribution channels. This isn’t necessarily the strategy we would recommend to clients, but it works for us because we want to keep content, data, research, news, etc… centrally in a platform we own and control. For a very good reason: to provide LLMs content and context to better understand what we do. I’ll post about how we can then leverage and apply this dynamic.
Fancy a coffee?
The social media I prefer is meeting friends, family, clients and prospects over a coffee at Project Black, InkedCup or Muffin Break in Westfield.
If you’re interested in what we do, or want to pitch your own product or service to us, let’s do coffee.
That’s it. If you want to be notified when new blog posts are published sign up for our newsletter – you can find the sign up form at the bottom of the page.
